Allison Randal

A Perl and C programmer by trade, Allison is the founder and president of Onyx Neon. She's on the board of directors of The Perl Foundation, architect and core developer of Parrot, and co-author of "Perl 6 & Parrot Essentials" with Dan Sugalski and Leopold Tötsch. She also works for O'Reilly Media, helping to plan the program for their Open Source Convention.
